Bright, medium-deep red-purple colour; an intriguing nose of fresh crushed herbs (including eucalyptus/mint) vegetable stock and a whiff of pomegranate, a twist of pepper, while the palate is medium in body and the cola/chinotto herbal and fruity flavours are backed by a smooth layer of puckering tannins. This is a pretty smart Aussie nebb that doesn't look much like a Barolo aromatically but the structure is eerily reminiscent.
