Rizzi Moscato d'Asti 2018

Rizzi are highly regarded as one of the greatest producers of Barbaresco but their repertoire extends to other varieties which winemaker and owner, Enrico Dellapiana, prosecutes with equal rigour and skill.
His humble Moscato d'Asti has become one of the go-to of the genre and the 2018 recently scored 91 points in Decanter magazine; a score not common for Moscato. Gently sweet with musky, grapey and poached apples aromas and flavours with a light frizzante (sparkling) carrying the sweetness creating refreshment rather than cloy.
