Made from pinot noir grown in the Geelong, Ballarat and Henty regions of Victoria.
You have to admire the complexity on offer here. It’s cohesive but it’s all happening. It tastes of chicory, twigs, orange peel, black cherries and foresty, mint-like notes, the finish and the tannin then infused with peppercorns and more. You get more than your money’s worth. Fruit is 60/35/5% Ballarat/Geelong/Henty. Matured in French barriques and puncheons (10% new). Medium crimson red, this is an excellent introduction to Provenance's range of 2022 pinots.
