French pinot noir from outside of Burgundy, alas ‘Vin de France’ on the label. P & A, a partnership between friends, a Burgundian vigneron (Nicolas Potel) & Beaujolais producer Stephane Aviron.

Black cherry, freshly turned earth and ripe raspberry compote. It's alluring and yet subdued. Delicate spice flavours of clove and coconut add savoury complexity. Nicely priced French pinot that achieves more than its price point, what's not to love? KAYLEEN, pws
