Details

A mix of 60/40% Huon Valley/Derwent Valley chardonnay from Lubiana's estate vineyards; matured in French oak (15% new) for 11 months. Mid-straw in the glass, the 2022 release sports a little more concentration and horsepower under the hood. Lemony and citrus pure with notes of white peach, nectarine, fine spice, lemon curd, nougat, vanilla paste, struck match and grilled nuts. Powerful yet presenting great clarity and detail; minerally acidity vivid and driving, finishing long, rich and mouth-filling. (94) DAVE BROOKES, James Halliday
