  1. Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage 2013
Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage 2013
Disgorged with five grams per liter dosage, Moët's 2013 Extra Brut Grand Vintage is a real success, wafting from the glass with aromas of pear, fresh bread, Meyer lemon, nougat and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, chiseled and fine-boned, with an enveloping core of bright, vibrant fruit and a pretty pinpoint mousse, it concludes with a precise, penetrating finish. Incisive but not austere, it's an impressive effort, reflecting good levels of maturity in this cool, late harvest. It's as fine a rendition of this cuvée as I can remember tasting. 2. Dom Perignon 2013
    Dom Perignon 2013
A driven and serious DP with aromas of chalk, biscuits, apricot stones and lemons. Some spice and dried flowers, too. So sleek and sophisticated. Elegant. Yet, it’s long and powerful, with a sharp minerality. Tight and precise. Reminds me of bottles from the 1980s, such as 1988. It really takes off. Disgorged October 2021. Drinkable on release in January 2023, but better in a couple of years. A DP for the cellar. JAMES SUCKLING

  3. Bereche & Fils Premier Cru Le Cran 2015
Bereche & Fils Premier Cru Le Cran 2015
The 2015 Extra-Brut Le Cran is one of the stars in this range. The blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay works so well. Apricot, yellow flowers, tropical fruit, chamomile and spice are all amplified in this large-scaled, ample Champagne. There's a tropical, exuberant quality to the 2015 that is notable. Chardonnay was picked at 10.5% and the Pinot was a bit riper, at 10.8%. Dosage is 3 grams per liter. ANTONIO GALLONI, Vinous.com

  4. Bereche & Fils Mailly Grand Cru 2017
Bereche & Fils Mailly Grand Cru 2017
The 2017 Extra-Brut Blanc de Noirs Mailly Grand Cru is racy, exuberant and full of character. Intense Pinot notes scream out of the glass in this exotic yet beautifully balanced Champagne. Red berry fruit, spice, kirsch, mint, dried flowers and anise build effortlessly. The purity of the flavors is quite striking. This is a fabulous showing... With air, the 2017 is wonderfully delicate and hugely appealing. Dosage is 3 grams per liter. ANTONIO GALLONI, Vinous.com

  5. Bereche & Fils Cramant Grand Cru 2017
Bereche & Fils Cramant Grand Cru 2017
The 2017 Extra-Brut Cramant Grand Cru is a rich, textured wine. Lemon confit, marzipan, spice and a whole range of tropical accents are dialed up in this exuberant, open-knit Champagne. This is an especially flamboyant style, but it works nicely. The mousse is especially fine, giving the Cramant a decidedly vinous feel. This is tremendous showing in a very hard year that was better in the Côtes des Blancs than in the Marne Valley, where rot was especially problematic. Dosage is 3 grams per liter. Disgorged: July 2022. ANTONIO GALLONI, Vinous.com

  6. Eminence 'Cute Brut' Zero Dosage Rose NV
Eminence 'Cute Brut' Zero Dosage Rose NV
The fruit for this was handpicked and gently whole bunch pressed, before being transferred to old French oak for fermentation. No yeast, enzyme or nutrient was added and the ferment was kept at around 15 degrees to preserve aromatics. After primary ferment, the barrels had a small sulphur addition before resting over winter on the yeast lees. 11 months later, we assembled a blend of 38% pinot noir (white base wine), 2% pinot noir red wine (for that lovely colour), 30% chardonnay and 30% pinot meunier. The chardonnay was a blend of vintages, but the pinots were 2019 base wine - so this wine must be labelled NV.  After fermenting again (creating the bubbles!) It was then aged on lees for 30 months before being disgorged with zero dosage.
