  1. Domaine Philippe Collotte Marsannay Rose 2019
Domaine Philippe Collotte Marsannay Rose 2019
Beautifully perfumed showing hints of strawberries and cream. Shows lovely texture and depth with more weight and character than one often finds for such a ‘northern’ Rosé.

Vivid orange-pink color. Cherry, redcurrant, orange zest and a suave floral nuance on the mineral-inflected nose. Juicy and broad on entry, offering sappy red fruit flavors that are braced by building spice and mineral accents. Tightens up on a long, focused finish that echoes the floral and cherry notes.  JOSH RAYNOLDS, Vinous

  2. Domaine Fazi Ile de Beaute Rose 2021
Domaine Fazi Ile de Beaute Rose 2021

Pale and fresh. Watermelon rind, pink grapefruit, redcurrant, a pretty herb and floral top note. Cool flavour profile, though flavour it does have, powdery texture, clean acidity, and a zesty finish of good length. Refreshing. Lovely to guzzle. GARY WALSH, The Wine Front

    42% Nielluccio, 33% Syrah, 20% Grenache, 5% Sciaccarellu. Screwcap.

A sound introduction to Corsican rosé, this showcases the island’s more rocky and chiselled take on the style (relative to Provence).  Tight, tense, saline, with pink grapefruit and watermelon and citrus rind, it’s underpinned with granitic minerals and bone dry.  The international varieties in the blend give a little more generosity around its fine, lean feel – only 11.5% alcohol.  Sophisticated IGP wine.

  3. Jules Mediterranean Rose 2022
    Jules Mediterranean Rose 2022

Hugh and Jane Faulkner fell in love with a vineyard, situated on the foothills of the Masif des Maures, in the centre of the Var, and settled at the property in 1989. Their eldest son Julian would eventually take over the running of the vineyard in 2000. A shrewd wine businessman and talented vigneron, Julian established the Jules label with the mission to craft delicious, accessible, and great value wines with single estate personality.

Another killer Rose from Jules! The 2022 is dangerously easy to drink. Hints of citrus peel and cranberry/red currant fruits on the nose. Strawberries and cream, sea spray, and slightly herbaceous on the palate, with a focused salinity. The personality of the 2022 is certainly of more precision and detail than previous releases. You would be crazy to not have a dozen of waiting in the wings for every time someone drops by for a drink on the patio or that last minute BBQ invite. PWS
