Cocchi Americano Bianco Aperitivo (750ml)Cocchi Americano means much more to Asti than a simple wine made with the infusion of herbs and spices. An aperitif par excellence. Cocchi's is widely regarded as the original Aperitivo Americano, and has been made continuously since 1891 using only natural ingredients. To aromatise the white wine a secret blend of herbs and spices, to name a few, gentian, cinchona and bitter orange peels, are added to the wine base which is then steeped over a period of time.

Raventos i Blanc 'Blanc de Blancs' Espumoso 2021Raventós i Blanc is a small, family-owned concern, based on 90 hectares at Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, which has been in the family since 1659, and has been a wine-growing estate since 1497. Their 'Blanc de Blancs' is a blend of Xarel.lo, Macabeu and Parellada, the varieties are fermented separately then blended before second fermentation. Minimum lees aging is 18 months and dosage is kept to a minimum, keeping it extra brut in style.
Typical of the Raventos i Blanc house style, this is a supremely elegant and delicately textured premium sparkler, featuring fresh apple and fine sand earthiness. Nestled into the characteristic fine bead are twinkles of seaspray, white nectarine and green pear; it’s deft, delicious and has lovely flavor and mouthfeel as well as crunch and race. So, after two years of intensive tastings and discussions with winegrowers and sommeliers, 'Balance' was born. Paolo Vidopivec Vitovska Classica 2017Paolo Vodopivec works only with the Vitovska grape, which is native to the area bordering Slovenia and just north of Trieste. He likes to use ancient winemaking techniques, including amphorae and works with bio-dynamically grown grapes.
This is from a 260m vineyards with the crushed and de-stemmed grapes spending 6 months in contact with the wine in Georgian anfora. Its then matured in large Slovenian oak case for approx. 24 months before bottling without any fining or filtration.
