Shimmers medium gold. A pure nose of baked pineapple, toffee and spiced yellow nectarines excite. The palate is awash with intense flavours of stonefruits, ginger, pineapple and honey. Subtle tones of marmalade and rye allude to the botrytis influence. It’s incredibly pure and fruit-fresh. With five years of age, it’s still primary and humming with tension. It’s mouth-watering delicious right now but time in the cellar will allow tertiary tones to develop.
