Rich and beginning to show some really lovely development. It opens with ripe peach, grilled figs and apricot and quickly unfolds in to more marmalade and florals. Plenty of depth of character here, its intense, ripe, sweet and mouth coating in its delivery but with tangy acidity that keeps it lively and cleans up the back palate beautifully. Really lovely and engaging. It's in nice spot at the moment, in the zone, but I don't think it would be a problem to leave it alone for another decade if that was your wish, there is just so much to love in the glass right now. For me, this will get a run on the table at Christmas as well as a few other dinners coming up. ROSCOE
