Details

Youthful, lustrous crimson. Full cherry nose with hints of cassis and damson supported by a suggestion of oak. Lots of juice and fruit but not heavy-handed. A rich layer of sandy tannins becoming more muscled on the finish, so I wouldn’t try this without food. More to come with further bottle ageing. WALTER SPELLER, www.jancisrobinson.com
