In spite of the richness imparted by this very warm site, there's a tobacco-leaf and black-tea character that gives this concentrated, medium-bodied wine a special twist and drive. Restrained mangoes, terrific stony energy and bergamot complexity make it exciting. Only 13% alcohol, helping the finish dance over your palate and off into the distance.
