This wine comes from a single plot, planted in 1975 and dry grown. Big perfume of jasmine, chamomile, grapefruit and lime. Flavours rolling out similarly with quite a good crunch of Granny Smith apple in there, too. A juiciness to texture, a steel rod of acidity thrust through. Feels bell ring clear. Lively expression of riesling with good depth and detail of fruit, spice and minerally acidity. Kudos. (94) MIKE BENNIE, Halliday wine Companion
