Details

Classed as a Grosse Lage, this is one of the Rheingau’s coolest and steepest sites. 50 to 100 year old vines on quartzite and grey slate soils. This is always amongst Eva’s most linear and taut wine.

The aromas of lychees, lemon blossoms and red-fleshed peaches make this really stand out in the Rheingau context. At once juicy, concentrated and dangerously vibrant on the extremely focused, medium-bodied palate. So racy in the finish, with stacks of wet-stone and salty minerality, also Amalfi lemon energy.
