Very deep colour with a rich, fully ripe bouquet of dark cherry, dark chocolate and spices, with a flick of black pepper. It's medium to full-bodied and rich, smoothly textured and ripely soft in its tannins. Very good red wine, if not that obvious in its varietal make-up. Long, warming finish. - Huon Hook
