Details

The colour is very deep, dark and purple tinged. The bouquet is earthy, plummy, chocolaty and spicy, with notes of pepper and clove. The wine is intense and elegant on the middle palate, the tannins appropriately firm but discreetly tucked into the background. This is a very stylish shiraz with good intensity, appealing range of flavours and drinkability as well as ageing potential. Very smart wine indeed. HUON HOOKE
