The 2021 Shiraz Avenue to Gold slowly reveals beautifully composed and even aromas of dark cherry, raspberry, red licorice and touches of dried herbs, all wrapped up in a cocoon of fine French oak. Its seamless, satiny texture enhances powerful and energetic flavors that are both youthful and refined. Firm yet fine tannins drive the long, impressive finish. This is absolutely great but needs time to flower. (98) ANGUS HUGHSON, Vinous Media

Deep magenta/crimson with aromas of blackberry, black cherry and blueberry with hints of baking spices, licorice, sage, almond blossom, cherry ripe, plum conserve, earth and vanillin oak. Impressive fruit weight and carry with fine, granitic tannins and a particularly bright, minerally line of acidity. The finish is long and strong with oodles of plum and blue fruits, layers of spice and a fair whack of latent power. JAMES HALLIDAY'S WINE COMPANION
