Such an elegantly spicy style of cooler-climate shiraz, this has aromas of fine white pepper and hard brown spices, across red plums, raspberries and blackcurrants. The palate is so fresh, long and fine with a really elegant, silky feel and such seamless length. Red plums and blueberries, as well as some darker fruit. Fresh finish. Try from 2023. Shimmering purple. Expansive aromas of ripe, mineral-tinged red and blue fruits, exotic spices, cola, vanilla and candied flowers show superb clarity. Stains the palate with intense, sharply focused cherry cola, blueberry and spicecake flavors that steadily deepen as the wine opens up.
