SPECIAL VALUE - Matured in 500L French puncheons (13% new). Fruit from Yering, Coldstream and Gruyere. A light, bright crimson. A pretty wine with its bouquet of strawberry, raspberry, floral notes and cinnamon spice. There's good persistence, too, on the gently mouth-filling palate with supple, fine-grained tannins rounding out a wine to drink now and over the next four to six years. (93) PHILIP RICH, Halliday Wine Companion

You’d ask for a second glass. This is a light Pinot Noir with some extra insistence. It tastes of cranberries, red cherries and strawberries, as drivers, but it’s the lacing of sweet spice, toast, undergrowth and cedar that helps to clinch it. It’s a wine of tension, complexity and charm; it’s delicious to drink. (92+) CAMPBELL MATTINSON, The Wine Front
