WSET Level 2 Award in Wines - Mon Intensive - Sydney - 11, 18 & 25 September 2023
Course Dates:
Monday 11 September, 9:30am-5pm
Monday 18 September, 9:30am-5pm
Monday 25 September, 9:30am-5pm (exam at the end of this day)
The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines is intended for those with little previous experience in the field of wine. Students will also be introduced to the main styles of wines produced by key grape varieties and a specific number of regions. By the end of the course a student will know, simply by reading a wine label, what most wines taste like.
The course is very suitable for people who are not employed in the drinks industry but wish to learn more about the subject. However, it is important that potential students appreciate that this is primarily a professional development course for the hospitality industry and is approached in that way by our tutors.
The course will be run in an intensive format over 3 Mondays at the Prince Wine Store (Sydney) – 40 Hansard Street, Zetland. There will be an exam on the final day. You will receive your results and a certificate within 8 weeks of completing the course.
Because of the intensive nature of the course we advise that you collect your reading materials well in advance of the course date.
There is a $135 fee to re-sit the exam should you not pass and a $50 fee is you do not turn up for the exam.
