Prince Wine Store is delighted to be working
with Yukino Ochiai, Director of Deja vu Sake Company, Sake Samurai, WSET
Level 3 Japanese Sake educator, and Kikizakeshi.
For
individuals new to the subject, this qualification offers a hands-on
introduction to the world of sake. You’ll explore the main styles and types of
sake through sight, smell and taste to develop an understanding of the key
factors affecting flavours and aromas.

serve sake
Factors affecting the flavour of sake
How to describe sake
using the WSET level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting Sake®
(SAT)

Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin, and will be
able to use the associated WSET certified logo.
There is a $185 fee to re-sit the exam should you not pass.
If you do not
attend the exam, there is a $100 non-attendance fee, as well as a $185
re-registration fee applicable.
If a student cancels their enrolment
within 72 hours of the course commencing 50% of the course fees will be
forfeited. Cancellation after this time will forfeit 100% of the course fees.
This course requires a minimum of 8 people to run.
