Long respected for the consistency of its white wines, Wirra Wirra has now established an equally formidable reputation for its reds. The wines are of exemplary character, quality and style,The Angelus Cabernet Sauvignon and RWS Shiraz battling each other for supremacy, with the recently added The Absconder Grenache one to watch. Long may the battle continue under the direction of managing director Andrew Kay and the winemaking team of Paul Smith and Paul Carpenter, who continue to forge along the path of excellence first trod by the late (and much loved) Greg Trott, the pioneering founder of the modern-day Wirra Wirra.
