Daniel Vollenweider began with just 1 hectare in Wolfer Goldgrube, for a long time an unjustly forgotten site in the Middle Mosel. daniel's first vintage was 200, and he shortly thereafter shot up the wine charts of various wine guides, such as Grault Millau. Now, Daniel works 4.5 hectares. Three-quarters of his holdings are in Goldgrube. Daniel Vollenweider's wines are very pure and well made. LARS CARLBERG, Mosel Wines
