Vincent Dancer
Vincent Dancer describes 2010 as a "classic Burgundian vintage where the maturities arrived slowly. The flowering did not go well which resulted in tiny yields but given that the growing season was cool and often wet, the low crop loads were a blessing in disguise. We began picking on the 17th of September, which was the early side relative to many of my neighbors yet my fruit was clearly ripe so there was no point in waiting any longer. It was also very clean so there was very little sorting to do and thus we could harvest rapidly. There was a high incidence of shot berries and the small berries had very thick skins that gave concentrated reds. As to the wines, they are for me archetypical burgundies." BURGHOUND
