Ten Minutes By Tractor Wine Co

The energy, drive and vision of Martin Spedding has transformed Ten Minutes by Tractor since he acquired the business in early 2004. He has entered into long-term leases of the three original vineyards, thus having complete management control over grape production courtesy of vineyard manager Alan Murray, who has been involved with those vineyards since 1999. A fourth vineyard has been added on the site of the new cellar door and restaurant; its first vintage was 2008, and it has been managed organically since day one. It is being used to trial various organic viticultural practices, which will ultimately be employed across all of the plantings. Martin is completing a wine science degree at CSU, and has taken over active winemaking alongside Richard McIntyre (the latter as an all-important mentor). The restaurant has one of the best wine lists to be found at any winery.
