Grown on two vineyards – Granton (red loam, patches of riverbed silt, chalky soil) and Cradoc (cobble stones over white clay).

Steely, spicy, smoky and minerally, though it’s all built on a foundation of cherry-plum fruit. This wine has tension and firmness, and a slightly reductive character to it, the latter working beautifully with the wine’s abundant fresh, berried fruit.
