Light straw in the glass with aromas of juicy peach, nectarine and grapefruit with hints of almond paste, clover blossom, riverstone, crème fraîche, spiced oatmeal and a liminal glimpse of struck flint. Detailed and fine of line, the pure stone and citrus fruit unfurl gracefully, daubed with spice and stone and drawn into line by a fine seam of sea-born acidity. 2023- Flashy and flinty aromas of orange blossoms, grapefruit peel, lime curd and hazelnuts on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with focused acidity, giving notes of lemons, sea salt, graphite and pastry. A tightly wound wine that will age nicely in bottle for many years to come. Excellent.
