25% whole bunches and a natural-yeast fermentation with 14 days on skins. Matured in one 600L French cask.
A light, bright crimson red. Floral-imbued aromas of spiced red cherry together with a little lavender and rose. Some jasmine, too. Very fresh and elegant in the mouth with silky tannins and a fine thread of acidity providing both structure and length. A pretty and seductive edition of what is, arguably, Australia's finest cool-climate grenache. (96) PHILIP RICH
