Roberto Voerzio

Roberto Voerzio has long been considered one of the most talented and dedicated producers of his generation. From the early days of his ascendancy into the ranks of Barolo's best producers, he has always been known for an almost fanatical attention to detail in the vineyard and modern (although less oak is used today) balanced winemaking.

The star wines are of course, his single-cru Baroli and these are hard to get, expensive and of superb quality. However it's in the wines lower down the hierarchy where you can find more than a glimpse of this mans talent for converting nebbiolo into something more than transitory. PWS
