The 2021 Richter Estate Riesling (or Riesling Feinherb in some markets) offers a clear and aromatic bouquet of ripe and savory Riesling fruit intertwined with coolish flinty notes. Round and juicy on the palate, this is a savory and salty, very charming and mouth-filling Riesling with stimulating grip and the concentration of partly very old vines cultivated in the cooler side valleys that give more acidity than the vineyards in the main Mosel Valley. This is a convincing, textured and very quaffable Riesling with a stimulating saline finish. 10.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022.
