SATURDAY 12th NOVEMBER 12pm - 2pm
“There is an enormous amount of excitement and energy around pinot noir at the moment; not only in Australia but across the globe. The best wines in Australia are grown not made, and pinot noir requires sensitive and thoughtful farming to be at its best, which we will discover through the course of the challenge.” MATT HARROP, Chair of Judges
The Pinot Noir Challenge is now Australia's premier wine show dedicated to the best pinot noirs in Australia. The wines are judged in regional panels before the top golds run off for the Wine of Show Trophy. This year's show has thrown up a fabulous selection of wines based primarily around the brilliant 2021 vintage. The lineup looks blistering with all of this year's regional winners (except for Handpicked Wines - 3 time Reginal Winner) picking up the gong for the first time. Not that it's any real surprise to see this year's leaderboard with an exceptional array of Aussie talent at the helm.
We are honing the final selection to hopefully include the top 12 wines in the country. If you're a pinotphile you need to be at this benchmark tasting of the variety in Australia. Come along, take a vote and enjoy the creme de la creme of Australian pinot noir.
Tickets are $20 and refundable on purchases over $100.Wines On Tasting. Please note, some wines will not be available on the day as they are not yet released. Where possible we will offer the wine pre-arrival.Geelong Scotchman’s Hill 2021 Pinot Noir
