Picardy

Picardy is owned by Dr Bill Pannell, wife Sandra, son Daniel and daughter Jodie; Bill and Sandra founded Moss Wood winery in Margaret River in 1969. Picardy initially reflected Bills view that the Pemberton area was one of the best regions in Australia for pinot noir and chardonnay, but it is now clear Pemberton has as much Rhone and Bordeaux as Burgundy in its veins. The Pannell Family wines are a separate venture to Picardy. Exports to the UK, the US and other major markets. -HALLIDAY
