The 2018 Le Sepaie is smoky and earthy in the glass, blending steeped plums and blackberries with grilled herbs and hints of camphor. It flows across the palate with lifted textures and crisp wild berry fruits, supported by a core of zesty acidity. 100% Aglianico from clay and limestone soil in the Taurasi and Paternopoli production zones of southern Italy. The wine is aged in barriques and tonneaux for 12 months.
