Enrico Scavino, along with his daughters Enrica and Elisa, have built quite an empire over the last few decades. It seems like every time I visit, the family has acquired a new choice parcel. As always, the Scavino Barolos are defined by their textural richness and opulence. When they are young, the wines are decidedly powerful and intense, but they have also proven to age exceptionally well. ANTONIO GALLONI Enrico with his two daughters, Elisa and Enrica carry forth an incredible family legacy from their home turf in Castiglione Falletto crafting Barolo of immense presence, power, and transparency. Today there is incredible energy and excitement at the estate that continues to propel it into the top tier of producers in Barolo today. The trio continue to expand their holdings securing some of the most revered sites both inside the Castiglione Falletto borders as well as Barolo, La Morra, Serralunga, and Monforte d'Alba. These are wines that today are extremely collectible yet remain incredibly affordable given the relentless pursuit of quality exacted at the estate today by Enrico and his team. We have Andrea Ostorero the global ambassador joining us for an evening where he will take us through these wonderful wines including a bracket of current releases and back vintages from a number of their cru bottlings. This will be an incredible snapshot looking at of one the great Barolo producers of our time.
