An incredible history, home to one of the most beloved Shakespearean tragedies and a gourmand delight. It is here we lay our scene but for very different reasons - Verona is the perfect jumping-off point to explore some of Italy’s most well-known and beloved wines. The gently rolling hills and lakes that surround the town produce a bevy of Italian wine classics that have beset the tables of kings, countrymen, and citizens of the world alike. From the mineral inflected wines from the hillsides of Soave, to the bright fresh and crunchy Valpolicella, to the rich and powerful ripasso and age-worthy Amarone wines, Veneto has a lot to offer. We have put together a wonderful collcetion of wines from some of the region's most esteemed producers and with over 20 wines on offer on the day this is sure to be a brilliant Saturday deep dive.
