Mt Horrocks

Mt Horrocks was established in 1982 and purchased by the current owner, Stephanie Toole in the early 1990's. Her vineyards cover approximately 10-hectares in three different locations and her wine range covers riesling, shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, semillon and the sweet riesling, Cordon Cut. While all of her wines are exceptionally well-made showing a deft hand and understanding of the variety the riesling is a standout. It is always a finely balanced, nervy wine of elegant florals and slate veiling surprising concentration and underlying power. The 2008 is a wonderful wine of purity and balance; the epitome of the estate style. PWS
