Spiced cherries, red fruit, rose petals, a bit of aniseed too, and while it’s Pinot, there’s a bit of Nebbiolo around it too, which is nice for me. Fresh, ripe fruit, spicy and dusty tannin, oak positive, but by no means a theme, and a dry and slightly sticky finish of good length. It’s a very even and tasty wine. GARY WALSH, The Wine Front
