Luigi Einaudi

Given their location in Dogliani (the heart of serious Dolcetto territory) the historic Luigi Einaudi estate has always produced great versions of this variety. However in more recent times the acquistion of excellent plots of Barolo crus such as Costa Grimaldi (part of Via Nuova in Barolo) and Cannubi have enabled the estate to raise its profile within more serious wine circles. Moreover, the improvement of all the range under the stewardship of Poala (granddaughter) makes this a go to estate for high quality Dolcetto and Barolo. PWS
