Laurent Perrier

Laurent-Perrier's rise began after the Second World War.  The group owned vineyards across France and California. However these outposts have been disposed of in order to concentrate its efforts and finances on its Champagne holdings.

When on form they are capable of offering some of the greatest value grande marque Champagnes in the light, pure elegantly fruity Chardonnay- influenced style. The Grande Siecle is an assemblage of three vintage years and exclusively grand cru grapes, with a minimum of seven years yeast-contact. Grand Siecle is not just a great Champagne, but a Champagne of great longevity. TOM STEVESON
