Laurent Charrier
Having taken over from his grandfather in 1994 Laurent, like so many young vignerons in the Loire, set about immediately converting the mature vineyards of his family estate to organics and was certified in 1997. His wines are fermented in stainless steel to preserve the purity fruit and expression of the terroir. Another young gun to watch in what is one of the most exciting wine regions in Europe today.
