Vinhos Justino Henriques, Filhos, Lda was established on the Island of Madeira in 1870 and is one of the oldest producers and exporters of Madeira Wine. They are based in the centre of the city of Funchal. Until 1953 it was a family run business. In 1993 it went international, when it formed a partnership with one of the largest French groups for the distribution of wines and spirits. It built new premises so as to improve the conditions in which the wines were made, especially the process of vinification, production and aging, combining traditional methods with more advanced technology.
