This white wine six-pack takes you on a refreshing ride through some of France’s most dynamic wine regions, while riders fly past the sweeping landscapes of the Tour. We, however, will get time to linger with a glass full of something chilled and white from six stages of the Tour.

It's an all-French affair this year that spans from the country's western coast and Bordeaux, all the way to its alpine reaches and as far north as Alsace. Each wine reflects the character of the place it calls home.

We've ensured that our selection includes a range of styles, from alpine-inspired, racy numbers (pun intended) in Savoie, slate-laden riesling from Alsace and wonderful modern styled Bordeaux Blanc through to minerally Sancerre, lush, and fruit-forward Mediterranean-inspired sippers and a cracking Aligote from the heart of Burgundy. This collection offers a complete cross-section of French terroir through the lens of white wine.

While it may be winter here, the wines are ideal for summer sipping and a vicarious adventure across the French countryside.

Tramontane Côtes Catalanes Blanc 2024

STAGE 4 – Flat – Carcassonne to Foix – 181.9 km

Tramontane is one of those producers quietly demonstrating just how exciting French Catalonia has become. Working in the windswept vineyards of Roussillon, the focus is firmly on Mediterranean varieties, low-intervention winemaking and allowing the region's sunshine, rocky soils and cooling Tramontane winds to shape the wines. It is a part of France that continues to fly under the radar despite producing some exceptional value.

Made predominantly from Macabeu (known as Viura across the border in Spain), this is a refreshing reminder of just how versatile the variety can be. Fermented entirely in stainless steel, it bursts with white flowers, citrus and stone fruit while maintaining lovely energy and freshness. There aren't many wines from Côtes Catalanes in Australia, making this both a delicious drink and a fascinating introduction to one of France's lesser-known appellations.

Château Huradin – Graves Blanc 2024

STAGE 7 – Flat – Hagetmau to Bordeaux – 175.1 km

Situated within one of Bordeaux's oldest appellations, Château Huradin produces wines that remain true to the classical traditions of Graves while embracing the precision of modern viticulture. The gravelly soils that give the region its name have long been prized for both Cabernet Sauvignon and white varieties, with Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon thriving in this unique corner of Bordeaux.

A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, this captures everything we love about contemporary white Bordeaux. Cool fermentation preserves the vibrant citrus and herbal character of Sauvignon, while Sémillon contributes texture and subtle richness. Fresh, mineral and wonderfully composed, it offers a modern interpretation of a timeless regional classic.

Vincent Gaudry Sancerre "Le Tournebride" 2023

STAGE 11 – Flat – Vichy to Nevers – 161.3 km

Vincent Gaudry is regarded as one of Sancerre's leading growers and was among the appellation's earliest adopters of biodynamic farming. Based in the village of Sury-en-Vaux, his vineyards are meticulously farmed to capture the distinct personalities of Sancerre's famous limestone, flint and clay soils. His thoughtful, low-intervention approach has earned him a reputation for producing some of the Loire's most expressive Sauvignon Blancs

Le Tournebride comes from vineyards rooted in classic Kimmeridgian limestone, bringing together precision, texture and remarkable freshness. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured on fine lees, the wine has a little more depth than many examples while retaining the lifted citrus, mineral and flinty character that defines great Sancerre. With today's stage finishing just south of the Loire, it couldn't be a more fitting stop.

Domaine Chanzy Bourgogne Aligoté "Les Fortunes" 2023

STAGE 12 – Circuit Nevers Magny-Cours to Chalon-sur-Saône – 179.1 km

Mid lemon and lime. Good fruit energy here. Really classy and tangy, with excellent persistence, layered and classy.  JASPER MORRIS MW

Domaine Chanzy has undergone a remarkable transformation over the past decade, emerging as one of Burgundy's most exciting addresses. Based in Bouzeron—the spiritual home of Aligoté—the estate farms organically across a superb collection of vineyards stretching through the Côte Chalonnaise and Côte de Beaune. Precision, restraint and a deep respect for terroir underpin every wine they produce

Les Fortunes is sourced from vineyards just a short distance from today's finish and showcases Aligoté at its finest. Fermented gently before ageing on lees, the wine combines crisp citrus, green apple and chalky minerality with a lovely textural richness. For anyone who still thinks Aligoté is Burgundy's forgotten grape, this wine offers a compelling argument to the contrary.

Jean-Luc Mader Riesling Burweg 2023

STAGE 14 – Mountain – Mulhouse to Le Markstein Fellering – 155.3 km

Mineral, concentrated and ample wine. Grapefruit on the palate and it shines with its long salty finish.'Top Village Wine of the Tasting, La Revue du Vin de France, July 2024.

The Mader family has been cultivating vines in Alsace since the seventeenth century, with Jean-Luc Mader continuing a long tradition of meticulous farming around the village of Hunawihr. Working organically across some of the region's finest sites, the estate produces wines of precision and understated elegance that consistently outperform their profile. They remain one of Alsace's quiet stars.

Burweg comes from one of the estate's finest vineyard sites, where limestone-rich soils and a cool climate produce Riesling of exceptional clarity and finesse. Fermented dry and aged on fine lees, the wine offers classic citrus, white flowers and mineral drive wrapped in a beautifully balanced frame. This is Alsace Riesling at its most refined—pure, vibrant and built to age gracefully.

Domaine Giachino Monfarina Jacquère 2025

STAGE 20 – Mountain – Le Bourg d'Oisans to Alpe d'Huez – 170.9 km

The Giachino family has become one of the leading names in Savoie, helping shine a light on one of France's most exciting cool-climate regions. Farming organically and biodynamically beneath the Alps, the family specialises in indigenous grape varieties that perfectly capture the freshness and alpine character of the landscape. Their wines are among the benchmarks for modern Savoie.

Produced entirely from Jacquère, Savoie's signature white variety, Monfarina is about purity above all else. Fermented in stainless steel and bottled young, it delivers crisp orchard fruit, mountain herbs and a wonderfully stony finish. Drinking it is a little like sipping from a crystal-clear alpine stream—bright, refreshing and impossible not to enjoy after a long day following the Tour through the mountains.
