Jean Loron Domaine des Billards

Maison Jean Loron was founded by Jean Loron who was born in 1711. He developed his business as a wine grower by vinifying specific "climats" of Beaujolais and of Bourgogne. The company is now run by the eight generation of the family.
Domaine des Billards in Saint-Amour, has been owned by the family since the 18th century and covers 14 hectares. Clos des Billards comes from sandy soil containing broken sandstone and clay veins. It has a long and rich history with sales records dating back to the 18th century.
