Hutton Vale Farm
Hutton Vale Farm is one of Australia's oldest remaining working farms, step into the relaxed rhythms of farm life with 6th and 7th generations passionate about the food and wine they produce.
John Howard Angas arrived in SA in 1843, and inter alia gave his name to Angaston, purchasing and developing significant farming property close to the still embryonic town. He named part of this Hutton Vale Farm, and it is this property that is now owned and occupied by his great-great-grandson John and wife Jan Angas. In 2012, the Angas family and Teusner Wines shook hands on a new partnership arrangement. They continue to work together today with Kym Teusner overseeing the winemaking, leaving the Angas family to continue with their custodianship of the farm and surrounding vineyards. JAMES HALLIDAY
