Huia Vineyards is a family-owned winery based in the Wairau Valley of Marlborough. Mike and Claire purchased the initial vineyard land in 1990 and launched the Huia wine company in 1996. Huia is focused on hand crafting fine unique wines expressing the richness of Marlborough grapes from the vineyard to the table. This commitment to quality is represented by the Huia feather, a symbol of dignity, wisdom and elegance. Huia is acutely aware of the need for long term sustainability to preserve the magnificent environment that provides us with our unique wine.
