Helen & Joey
Helen and Joey Estate was established in 2010 in the Yarra Valley. Planted in 1996 our vineyard comprises the classic Burgundian varieties of Pinot noir and Chardonnay, along with Cabernet sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot and Pinot gris. We produce only single vineyard wines from our 35 hectare vineyard located in Gruyere, at the base of the Warramate Ranges.
Meg Brodtmann MW began working with us in 2013 on a consulting basis. As our business has grown, Meg joined us as our full-time winemaker in 2016. She has over 20 years global winemaking experience and has completed her winemaking journey by returning to where it all started, the Yarra Valley.
We produce three ranges of our wine. Alena is our premium brand, Layla is our Yarra Valley classics brand (Chardonnay and Pinot noir only) and Inara is our cheeky, fun brand encompassing all the varieties on our vineyard and made to show fruit purity. MEG BRODTMAN
