Let me cut to the chase: I have adored the wines from Goisot since I began visiting several years ago. Sure, the competition within the AOC of St-Bris is not exactly at the same level as Pauillac or Vosne-Romanée, however Goisot is so far ahead of anyone else in St-Bris that it is almost embarrassing. I would go further and state that, in my mind, they are one of the most interesting and exciting growers in Burgundy. NEAL MARTIN
