This course is a great introduction to the greatest wine country in the world – France
The wines and wineries of France conjure up quite evocative emotions of beautifully manicured vineyards on rolling hills topped with gorgeous Chateau. A lot of the time that is true, but it is an extremely diverse wine country and ranges from the bold, dark, concentrated wines of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, through to the inky and muscular Bordeaux from the great Chateaus, through to the ethereal and beguiling wines of Chambolle-Musigny in Burgundy. All the way up to the stunning aromatic whites of the picturesque towns of Alsace on the German border.
With so many styles, regions, producers and varieties it can seem difficult knowing where to begin or what to expect. The Prince Wine Store’s French Wine Course is designed to help build a foundation of knowledge for the major wine regions of the country, what to expect from each and how to navigate them. It makes for a great introduction to the wines of France or an excellent way to expand on your growing infatuation with the regions of the greatest wine country on earth.
