Raul is the Spanish expert at Prince Wine Store and delivers the PWS Spanish and Portuguese Wine Courses plus he is an enthusiastic contributor to the WSET Level 2 and Level 3 programs and more recently specialist lecturer for the WSET Diploma.
His training as sommelier at London’s awardwinning Mirabelle restaurant, with chef Marco Pierre White, was the beginning of his professional wine journey that has included extensive education and vocational experiences. These include the Len Evans Tutorial, the WSET Diploma, a Master of viticulture and wine science at Melbourne University, as well as judging at the International Croatian Wine show and other unusual destinations. Raul loves to make his own wine out of Portuguese varieties in Portugal, South Africa and Australia. He is well versed on the topic of all things wine.
