Daniel Chotard

The Chotard family has been making wine for well over two hundred years. Daniel and his son Simon farm the 16 hectares of vines they own on the slopes of the village Crezancy-en-Sancerre. Here flint meets clay and the famous Kimmeridgian limestone. They practice sustainable farming and only use organic composts to treat the vines. They typically harvest later than their neighbors looking for more roundness on the palate.
